Excellent!

This sounds fantastic. This would easily fit into a modern RPG. Great work!

Jessismith responds:

Thanks!

Really well done

This has a really pro sound. Everything from the vocals to the mixing is spot on pro material. Great work

Sounds nice

I really think your piano could benefit from a more human touch. Adding some variety to the velocity of the notes would help a lot in making it sound more natural and less electronic. The abrupt ending and the brevity of the piece kinda let me down too. I think it sounds really nice though. I think you should expand on this because whats here is pretty awesome.

Skythen responds:

Thanks a lot for the comment, and your critic really helps me. beyond any type of excuse, i made this song when i was just starting to make music so yeah it lacks naturality but apart from this ill try to upload some more pieces and focus on this things you told me i should improve.

Sounds great!

Definitely RPG town material. Really laid back and peaceful sounding. Good job!

kuro-rpg responds:

Thank you. Made it ages ago, but it was requested I put it up here.

Beautiful

I used Mekka's NG audio pack downloader to nab all of your submissions here on NG. I stuck them on my MP3 player and listened to most of them the other night when I was laying in bed trying to sleep. You have written some really inspiring and beautiful music. Some of my favorites were A Dream Gone Lost and Suicide Rescue, but this one here topped the list for me. Absolutely wonderful work. Don't let the zero bombers bug you. Every audio artist here gets them, especially the non-electronica artists. Mind if I ask how you record your piano? It sounds to me like you're mic-ing a real piano and adding healthy dose of reverb. Or is it just a well crafted sample patch?

NordicHazard responds:

thanks man, i'm really happy when people enjoy my music, that's kinda why i play for! Anyways i use logic studio pro 9 connecting a usb keyboard to it, then put the steinway piano to it, mix the sound a bit and record my playing on the keyboard, same for the strings etc.

Bwahahaha!

Oh yes, I feel your pain. This makes me think Alice in Chains on an extremely high dosage of acid. I enjoy Alice in Chains, and who doesn't love an extremely high dosage of acid? Respect.

Hexol94 responds:

Thanks! Exactly what i was going for....Very Glad you like it....

Nice sound

This piece reminds me of Brian Eno's amazing ambient works. This has a real nice sound and atmosphere to it. It just makes you feel like you're floating away. I've never heard of Synplant, but I'm always on the look out for great VSTs so I might have to check it out. Great work!

Shigimatsu responds:

thanks a ton! thanks to 0-bombers this will never get big so now you'll probably be one of the only ones to hear it.

Nice

I love the way the synths throughout most of the song kinda bounce around everywhere. The change around 2:45 is well done, and also well timed. No real suggestions here, but I really enjoy what you have so far. Excellent work!

My hobbies are recording music and programming stuff.
